North Texas Adventures - About Us
North Texas Adventures was founded in 2009 by outdoor enthusiasts Lonna and Shawn. In July 2010 NTA changed ownership and our organization is now operated by Antje Barnes along with a great team of event leaders.
North Texas Adventures brings active adults together in a safe, friendly, fun environment to do a wide variety of activities. So often it's hard know where to find the great spots and have people who are interested in doing the same kinds of activities, too. That's one thing that is so great about us, our goal is to have as much fun as possible, meet new friends of all ages and backgrounds and leave a positive impact on our community, while doing the things we love to do. We hope you will join us!

Antje is originally from Berlin, Germany. She moved to the states in 1995 and became a US Citizen in January of 2010. Antje works for a global company as their Communications Manager for a large government contract in Fort Worth. She lives in North Fort Worth with her 6 year old son Donovan.
In her spare time, Antje enjoys pretty much any outdoor activity, from cycling to hiking and camping to kayaking and loves to meet people with similar interests.
